Conservation Pledge
I pledge to protect and conserve the natural resources of the planet earth, and promise
 to promote education so we may become caretakers of our air, water, forests, land and wildlife.

Goals
Share our gardening interests and knowledge with other gardeners.
Increase our knowledge about Horticulture.
Donate money to help the community, for beautification of the environment or education.
Develop friendships among our members.

Events

Projects
  • Year round maintenance of the Southeast & Northwest corners at the intersection of Glencoe & West Union Road.  This includes new planting, fertilizing, weeding and deadheading.
  • A perennial plant sale in May is the annual fund raiser.  Requires digging and potting of plants, pricing, labeling, transporting, setup, selling & cleanup.
  • Easter basket material is donated each Easter to the children at Mountaindale Recovery Center.
  • A club arrangement is entered in the Washington County Fair.  Also various members enter horticulture and floral arrangements.
  • Donate money from our fund raiser to either help the community, or for the beautification of the environment, or for education.
